A Caribbean Island With Real Soul

Few islands have a personality like Jamaica's. This is the home of reggae and jerk, of Blue Mountain coffee grown in the mist and waterfalls you climb rather than merely admire — a Caribbean island with more soul, sound and landscape than almost any other. The north coast, from Montego Bay through Ocho Rios to Negril's seven-mile beach, is where its luxury lives.

At HighStreet Holidays we don't simply book Jamaica — we match you to the right stretch of coast and the right resort, whether that's a romantic adults-only retreat, a polished all-inclusive, or a private villa with its own staff.

With access to a carefully vetted portfolio across the island's finest addresses, we build a Jamaica that delivers the rhythm and the warmth without compromising on comfort.

Jamaica isn't a quiet island, and that's the point. Get the setting right and its energy becomes the best thing about the trip.

Best Time to Visit
When to Go
PEAK SEASON
Late November to April
The dry season — warm, bright days around 28-31C on the coast, cooler in the Blue Mountains. The most reliable weather of the year, and the busiest; festive and Easter weeks book up early.
EXCELLENT VALUE
May to June & late November
Shoulder months with warm weather, clear mornings and lower rates. Short afternoon showers become more frequent, but beach days remain the norm.
HURRICANE SEASON
June to November
The wetter half of the year, with the formal Atlantic hurricane season running through it. Storms don't strike every year and direct hits are uncommon, but rain and occasional disruption are more likely; insurance covering weather is sensible.
THE SWEET SPOT
Late November & early December
After the rains, before the festive rush — warm, drying weather, green landscapes and quieter, better-value resorts. A knowing traveller's window.
