HAND-VETTED RESORTS

The UAE Most Travellers Haven't Found Yet

Ras Al Khaimah is the UAE most travellers haven't discovered yet — the northernmost emirate, an hour beyond Dubai, where the Hajar Mountains meet a long, quiet coastline. It is home to Jebel Jais, the country's highest peak and the world's longest zipline, to mangroves and desert dunes, and to a string of beach resorts without the crowds or the price tags of its famous neighbour.

At HighStreet Holidays we don't simply book Ras Al Khaimah — we use it cleverly: a calm beach base with Dubai's attractions on the doorstep, mountain adventure, and desert nights, often at better value than the bigger names.

With access to a carefully vetted portfolio of the emirate's resorts, we build a Ras Al Khaimah that blends relaxation, adventure and value.

Ras Al Khaimah gives you the UAE without the crowds, and the mountains thrown in. The Gulf's best-kept secret, for now.

Signature Experiences
Moments That Linger
Beyond the beach, Ras Al Khaimah rewards the curious. These are the experiences our clients come home remembering.
The world's longest zipline launches you off the UAE's highest peak at speeds near 150km/h
Jebel Jais Zipline
The world's longest zipline launches you off the UAE's highest peak at speeds near 150km/h. The mountain itself is several degrees cooler than the coast — a respite as much as a thrill.

Dubai on the Doorstep
RAK sits an hour from Dubai's attractions — close enough for a day trip, far enough to escape the crowds each evening. The best of both.

Best Time to Visit
When to Go
PEAK SEASON
November to March
The cool, sunny winter — warm days around 24-28C, low humidity and perfect beach weather. The ideal time to visit, and the busiest; festive and half-term weeks are the priciest.
SHOULDER
April & October
Hot but manageable, with warm seas and lower rates than peak. Good-value months at the edges of the comfortable season.
SUMMER (VERY HOT)
May to September
Fierce heat of 40C and above on the coast. Days centre on the pool and the sea, with the lowest hotel rates of the year — and the mountain offering a cooler escape.
MOUNTAIN COOL
Jebel Jais, year-round
High on Jebel Jais the air is several degrees cooler than the coast — a genuine respite even in summer, and the reason RAK works as an adventure base when other emirates bake.
