Fogo Island Inn

Fogo Island Inn stands on stilts at the edge of the North Atlantic, off the coast of Newfoundland — a Todd Saunders design icon, Relais & Châteaux, and one of only two Canadian properties to hold Three Michelin Keys. Its 29 one-of-a-kind rooms frame the ocean through floor-to-ceiling windows above handmade island furniture. Stays are all-inclusive: every meal, a personal Community Host who pairs with you, outer gear and on-island transport. The reward is the wild — icebergs on the Labrador Current, whales and puffins, foraging and seven-seasons local cuisine. It is a community-owned social enterprise, with surpluses returned to the island.

- All-inclusive; alcohol excluded.
- Wood-fired rooftop saunas instead.
- Couples; children aged 8 and over in some suites.
- Via Gander, then a drive and a ferry.
