About the Resort
A 400-acre private rainforest island

Isla Palenque is a 400-acre private rainforest island in the Gulf of Chiriquí, with just eight beachfront casitas and a six-bedroom villa — each casita roughly fifty feet from the water with most of a beach to itself. A member of the Cayuga Collection and a National Geographic Unique Lodge, it runs all-inclusive: round-trip boat, Eden's hyper-local dining and guided island tours across seven secluded beaches. Whale-watching and sportfishing fill the Marine Park beyond, and arrival is by boat or a beach-landing helicopter.

“We’ve stayed here three times now. The house reef has no equal. The stargazing was, genuinely, one of the most moving experiences of my adult life.”

★★★★★
“I had stayed at Four Seasons, One&Only and Velaa before visiting Isla Palenque. They are all magnificent. But this is different in a way that is hard to articulate.”

Islas Secas Reserve & Lodge
Islas Secas is a 14-island private archipelago in the Gulf of Chiriquí, with only one island developed and the other thirteen left untouched. Seven casitas and the four-bedroom Casa Cavada villa spread across four 'island-within-an-island' sites — each with a deck, a plunge pool and Pacific views — holding just 18 to 24 guests at a time. It runs entirely on solar with a working conservation foundation; stays are all-inclusive with guided diving, snorkelling and marine safaris around Coiba National Park, and humpbacks pass between July and September.

Buenaventura Golf & Beach Resort
Buenaventura is an Autograph Collection and Leading Hotels resort on the Riviera Pacífica, about eighty minutes west of Panama City inside a gated Pacific-coast community. An 18-hole, par-72 Jack Nicklaus course threads the grounds, several pools and swim-up bars step down to a private beach, and seven restaurants run from Panamanian cooking to teppanyaki. The Corotú Spa takes its name from the resort's old-growth tree; rooms carry modern Panamanian design and rise to villas with private pools and kitchens.

The Santa Maria, a Luxury Collection Hotel & Golf Resort
The Santa Maria is Panama City's only urban hotel-and-golf resort — a Marriott Luxury Collection address wrapped around an 18-hole, par-72 Jack Nicklaus course, minutes from Tocumen, the Canal and Casco Antiguo. Rooms carry native-inspired design, with Guna Yala mola bed runners, Gatún Lake wood and Emberá baskets over Italian-marble baths. Three restaurants include a steakhouse, an indigenous-inspired spa runs steam and sauna, and golf-view suites climb to the 190-square-metre Grand Suite.
