Kokomo is a private island at the edge of the Great Astrolabe Reef, where 26 villas and residences all come with private infinity pools and walled tropical gardens. It is all-inclusive and built for families — a Kaji Kids Club, a nanny for the youngest — but the draw is the sea: manta rays, turtles and seasonal whales metres offshore, a 5.5-acre organic farm and vanilla plantation feeding three restaurants, and genuine reef-and-mangrove conservation that guests can take part in.
