About the Resort
The only resort on the UNESCO ridge

Ladera is the only resort on the UNESCO World Heritage Site, perched on a volcanic ridge directly between the two Pitons on a former cocoa plantation. Its pioneering open-fourth-wall suites each have a private heated plunge pool and no TVs, framing the peaks and the sea. The award-winning farm-to-table Dasheene and a 2,000-bottle Wine Room anchor the dining, and a Green Globe certification underpins a stay built for romance. The beach is a short complimentary shuttle away.

“We’ve stayed here three times now. The house reef has no equal. The stargazing was, genuinely, one of the most moving experiences of my adult life.”

★★★★★
“I had stayed at Four Seasons, One&Only and Velaa before visiting Ladera Resort. They are all magnificent. But this is different in a way that is hard to articulate.”

Other St Lucia resorts you might consider

St Lucia
Jade Mountain
The Caribbean's most iconic room design: open-fourth-wall sanctuaries with private infinity pools framing the Pitons, perched on a cliff above sister resort Anse Chastanet. James Beard-winning cuisine, no TVs and an adults-oriented calm — with two beaches and a dive centre on the estate below.

St Lucia
Sugar Beach, A Viceroy Resort
A Viceroy resort set literally between the two Pitons, on a rare white-sand beach in a hundred acres of rainforest. Villas, cottages and beachfront bungalows with private plunge pools and butler service, a treehouse Rainforest Spa, and a PADI dive facility in the marine reserve at Petit Piton's base.

St Lucia
Cap Maison
The first Relais & Châteaux in St Lucia, a clifftop Spanish-Caribbean boutique on the quieter north coast above secluded Smuggler's Cove. Villa-suites with private rooftop plunge pools and kitchens, two of the island's best restaurants, and Rock Maison — a rock-platform table served by a zip-wire champagne delivery.
