Six Senses Kaplankaya

Six Senses Kaplankaya is the wellness-led retreat on a remote Aegean peninsula — a Mediterranean village stepped into a secluded hillside north of Bodrum, reached by private boat or helicopter. Its heart is a ten-thousand-square-metre spa, one of Europe's largest, with thirty-eight treatment rooms, a meditation cave and pioneering integrative wellness — from cryotherapy and Watsu to Chinese medicine, led by doctors and dieticians, with sleep, detox and emotional-healing programmes. Around 141 rooms include ridge villas connected by funicular, each with a private infinity pool, five organic restaurants nourish from the Earth Lab and garden, and three to five private beaches edge the bay. The setting is a remote South Aegean peninsula at Kaplankaya near Milas: the village steps down a secluded hillside to the beaches, the meeting of land and sea framed from every room, and the ancient sites of the Aegean coast, two of the Seven Wonders among them, lie within reach. It is the wellness-and-remote pick of the Aegean — distinct from the jet-set Mandarin Oriental and the five-beach D Maris Bay. Seasonal, summer-peak.
