About the Resort
Auckland's landmark waterfront hotel

Park Hyatt Auckland opened in 2020 as the city's landmark waterfront hotel, low on the harbour edge at the Wynyard Quarter beside the superyacht moorings. Conran and Partners' design is woven with Māori craft and commissioned New Zealand art; many of the 195 rooms have terraces over the Waitematā. A 25-metre infinity pool runs over Lighter Basin, and Onemata leads the dining with an open hearth and New Zealand produce. A footbridge crosses straight into the city.

“We’ve stayed here three times now. The house reef has no equal. The stargazing was, genuinely, one of the most moving experiences of my adult life.”

“I had stayed at Four Seasons, One&Only and Velaa before visiting Park Hyatt Auckland. They are all magnificent. But this is different in a way that is hard to articulate.”
