Arriving by seaplane
Around 30 minutes by seaplane from Malé aboard Soneva's own fleet, with a private lounge for your wait. An alternative routing flies domestic to Dharavandhoo, then a short speedboat to the island.

On its own jungle-cloaked island in the UNESCO-protected Baa Atoll, Soneva Fushi is the resort that defined barefoot luxury — the original "no news, no shoes" escape, open since 1995 and still the Maldives' benchmark private-island sanctuary. Around 60 vast villas and overwater Water Retreats hide among the foliage and along the reef, each with its own pool, its own stretch of sand or lagoon, and a personal host to look after you.
