Ilimanaq Lodge

Ilimanaq Lodge is Greenland's standout design lodge: fifteen architect-designed, two-storey cabins set cliff-side in the historic Ilimanaq settlement on Disko Bay, reached only by a 30-minute boat transfer from Ilulissat through the UNESCO Icefjord. Each cabin of around 40 square metres has a wall-sized panorama window framing drifting icebergs and breaching whales from the bed or the private terrace. “I had stayed at Four Seasons, One&Only and Velaa before visiting Ilimanaq Lodge. They are all magnificent. But this is different in a way that is hard to articulate.”

Hotel Arctic
Greenland
Hotel Arctic
Hotel Arctic is the world's northernmost four-star hotel and Greenland's most famous, standing on the shores of the UNESCO Ilulissat Icefjord on Disko Bay. Every one of its rooms looks out over the icefjord or the bay, in Danish-elegant interiors hung with Greenlandic art, and the hotel adds five coast-edge aluminium igloo cabins (boardwalk-linked, open May to October) for sleeping beside the icebergs. Greenlandic cuisine is served at Restaurant Ulo, there is a terrace for midnight-sun drinks, and the whole hotel is CO2-neutral. The classic Ilulissat icefjord base.
Glacier Lodge Eqi
Greenland
Glacier Lodge Eqi
Glacier Lodge Eqi is a wilderness cabin camp set directly across the fjord from the thundering, calving Eqip Sermia glacier, around 80 kilometres north of Ilulissat and reached only by a 3-to-5-hour boat sail through iceberg-filled Disko Bay or by helicopter. Around fifteen solar-powered red Nordic huts step up the hillside, the front-row Comfort De Luxe cabins giving panoramic windows and private terraces onto the ice. Meals are full board at Cafe Victor with a glacier view, days are spent on guided hikes onto the Greenland Ice Sheet, and the historic Paul-Emile Victor expedition relics lie nearby. Raw Arctic wilderness with just enough comfort.
Hurtigruten Greenland Expedition
Greenland
Hurtigruten Greenland Expedition
Hurtigruten Greenland Expedition is HX's premium Greenland expedition programme, drawing on around 130 years of polar heritage to deliver Zodiac landings, naturalist-led science and Grand Greenland voyages that increasingly sail from Nuuk's new airport into Disko Bay and the far north. Guests choose from a fleet of ships, from the intimate, refurbished MS Spitsbergen and the classic MS Fram to the battery-hybrid MS Roald Amundsen and MS Fridtjof Nansen with panoramic lounges and balcony suites. All meals are included in the main restaurant Aune, with fine dining at Restaurant Lindstrom for suite guests. Premium, sustainable and expedition-first. This is a multi-ship programme, so the vessel is confirmed by itinerary.
