Angama Mara — Swahili for 'suspended in air' — stands on the rim of the Siria Escarpment, a thousand feet above the Mara Triangle, the quieter and better-managed western sector of the Maasai Mara. Thirty glass-fronted tented suites, split between two intimate 15-suite camps, each carry a 10-metre wall of glass onto the plains, a private deck and Maasai-red accents. A rim-flow pool shares the view, a garden-to-table shamba supplies the kitchen, and guests picnic on the very kopje made famous by Out of Africa — watching dawn balloons drift past the glass.

andBeyond Suyian opened in July 2025 as the only camp on the 44,000-acre private Suyian Conservancy in Laikipia — and was named to TIME's World's Greatest Places 2026.
