About the Resort
A ski-in/ski-out design resort at the Matterhorn
CERVO Mountain Resort

CERVO is the design-and-lifestyle ski-in/ski-out resort at the Matterhorn — fifty-four rooms across around seven larch-wood chalets just above car-free Zermatt, the only true ski-in/ski-out in the village, with a famous slope-side apres-ski from three in the afternoon. Its Atman Mountain Ashram spa centres on a Japanese-style onsen facing the Matterhorn, joined by a Bhutanese hot-stone bath, Nordic saunas, a natural cold pool, a heated outdoor pool, a climbing wall and daily yoga and sound baths. Three international restaurants run from the Italian Madre Nostra to the fondue, raclette and table-barbecue of Ferdinand, the Dreimeta design layers alpine chalet, hunting lodge and modern minimalism, and the Matterhorn fills nearly every window. Zermatt itself is car-free and reached by cog railway from Tasch, its 360 kilometres of pistes climbing to the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise and summer skiing, with the Sunnegga funicular opposite the resort and the Gornergrat railway close. Dog-friendly and full of energy, it is a year-round, dual-season resort with a lively, design-led spirit — distinct from the intimate, architectural OMNIA on the rock.

Food & Drink
Dining
Three international restaurants run from the Italian Madre Nostra to Ferdinand's fondue, raclette and table barbecue, capped by the famous CERVO apres-ski that fills the slope-side terrace from three in the afternoon. It is lively, design-led mountain dining at the foot of the runs, as much a Zermatt institution as a hotel restaurant. Madre Nostra and Ferdinand draw villagers as well as guests, the apres-ski terrace among the liveliest in Zermatt.

Wellbeing
The Ātman Spa
The Atman Mountain Ashram Spa centres on a Japanese-style onsen facing the Matterhorn, joined by a Bhutanese hot-stone bath, Nordic saunas, a natural cold pool, a heated outdoor pool, a climbing wall and daily yoga and sound baths. It is one of the most distinctive spas in the Alps, wellness with a view of the peak, the onsen steaming against the snow and the Matterhorn beyond. The onsen, the Bhutanese hot-stone bath and the natural cold pool make the Atman spa unlike anything else in the Alps, the peak steaming beyond.

Activities & Experiences
Signature Experiences
The skiing, the onsen and the apres-ski define a stay — ski straight to the door as the only true ski-in/ski-out in Zermatt, soak in the Matterhorn-facing onsen, and join the famous slope-side apres-ski from three. Car-free Zermatt, the Sunnegga funicular, the Gornergrat railway and the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise, the highest cable-car station in Europe, are all close, with summer skiing and the Five Lakes Walk in the warmer months. The Sunnegga funicular sits opposite, the Gornergrat railway climbs to over three thousand metres, and summer brings the Five Lakes Walk.

“I had stayed at Four Seasons, One&Only and Velaa before visiting CERVO Mountain Resort. They are all magnificent. But this is different in a way that is hard to articulate.”

THE OMNIA
Switzerland
THE OMNIA
THE OMNIA is the architectural design hotel on the rock above Zermatt — reached through a tunnel and a glass elevator that rises through the granite to the lobby, a "James Bond lair" arrival 45 metres above the village. Ali Tayar's architecture echoes the Matterhorn's canted lines in glass, metal and larch, and just 30 rooms, no two alike, look out across Zermatt and the peak; suites reach 110 square metres with wood stoves and private saunas. The Feel Well spa lays an indoor-outdoor heated pool, saunas and a flower-grotto steam room against Matterhorn views, and the village's car-free skiing, hiking and the Gornergrat railway are minutes below. Intimate, design-led, and 95 points on La Liste 2026 — the architectural counterpoint to lively CERVO.
The Chedi Andermatt
Switzerland
The Chedi Andermatt
The Chedi Andermatt is the design-led alpine resort — GHM's first European hotel, in Jean-Michel Gathy's "Asia meets the Alps" style of wood, granite and leather, threaded with 200 fireplaces. Its rooms all start at 52 square metres, its 2,400-square-metre spa is built around a 35-metre glass-covered indoor pool with an outdoor pool and graduating plunge pools, and the Gemsstock gondola is a four-minute walk for skiing the SkiArena Andermatt-Sedrun. Summer brings hiking, cycling and an 18-hole golf course, the cheese cellar and wine round out the table, and the Ursern Valley sets the scene. A year-round, dual-season retreat — ski by day, spa by night.
Victoria-Jungfrau Grand Hotel & Spa
Switzerland
Victoria-Jungfrau Grand Hotel & Spa
The Victoria-Jungfrau is the grand Belle Époque spa hotel of the Bernese Oberland — a Leading Hotels grande dame with 1856 origins and a domed 1899 silhouette, in the heart of Interlaken with the legendary Jungfrau framed from its windows. Its 216 rooms span gilded Belle Époque and modern interiors up to the 215-square-metre Tower Suite in the dome, and its 5,500-square-metre Spa Nescens is one of Switzerland's most breathtaking, built around a Roman-baths indoor pool with an outdoor brine bath and open-air whirlpools. The Jungfraujoch "Top of Europe," the Jungfrau ski region, lake cruises on Thun and Brienz and Interlaken's adventure sports all radiate from the door. The family, spa and scenery base — year-round.
