About the Resort
An eco-wellness island boutique on Hvar
Maslina Resort

Maslina Resort is the eco-wellness island boutique on Hvar — a Relais & Chateaux retreat of “Mindful Luxury” in olive groves and pine forest at Maslinica Bay, by the two-thousand-four-hundred-year-old UNESCO town of Stari Grad. Just fifty rooms and three villas are built in organic, island-sourced materials, suites taking private heated plunge pools and rooftop gardens and the three coastal villas private heated infinity pools. The Pharomatiq Spa draws a garden-to-skin menu and sound-bowl healing from Hvar's own environment, the gourmet table is organic and garden-to-table, and two pools are shaded by the grove's own relocated olive trees beside a private beach. The setting is the slow, green side of the island: Maslinica Bay sits over two hectares of pine forest and terraced vineyards on the Adriatic, Stari Grad and its UNESCO plain are a fifteen-minute walk, and snorkelling, paddleboarding and boat trips to the Pakleni islands and Hvar Town are all at hand. It is the intimate, sustainable island retreat of the Croatian coast — a distinct setting from the Dubrovnik hotels and the Istrian flagship. Seasonal, at its best in the warmer months. The UNESCO Stari Grad Plain, the lavender fields of the island's interior and the fortress and squares of Hvar Town all lie within reach, the Pakleni islands a short boat ride off the coast.

Grand Park Hotel Rovinj by Maistra Collection
Grand Park Hotel Rovinj is the design-and-Michelin Istrian flagship — Maistra Collection's Leading Hotels flagship at Rovinj, a Piero Lissoni and 3LHD design cascading through the Golden Cape forest park over the Adriatic and Rovinj's Old Town. It holds Croatia's only two-Michelin-starred restaurant, Agli Amici, alongside the one-star Cap Aureo, and the Albaro Spa is the largest in Istria at around 3,800 square metres. Three pools include a 50-metre sports pool and a rooftop pool, 209 rooms run comfortable minimalism with private plunge pools in select suites, and a 5-star ACI marina, the Lungo Mare Plaza shopping and a private-island-beach shuttle complete it. The design, spa and gastronomy flagship of Istria — a distinct region from the Dubrovnik coast and the island of Hvar.
Hotel More
Croatia
Hotel More
Hotel More is the intimate boutique with the world-famous cave bar on Lapad — an independent, beachfront boutique of around 40 rooms on Lapad Bay, in Mediterranean pine and cypress. Its signature is the Cave Bar More, a natural limestone cave three levels deep beneath the hotel, lit by 300 lights and named one of the world's best bars, where cocktails meet Lapad Bay sunsets. Fine Dalmatian dining comes at Tramuntana with sea views, a seaside promenade leads to Uvala Lapad Beach a five-minute walk away, and the Old Town is ten minutes by road. Adults-focused and calm, this is the boutique pick of the Dubrovnik four — distinct from the big seafront resorts. Seasonal, with the Cave Bar open from spring to late autumn.
Hilton Imperial Dubrovnik
Croatia
Hilton Imperial Dubrovnik
The Hilton Imperial is the historic Old-Town-gate Dubrovnik city hotel — the 1897 Grand Hotel Imperial, the city's first luxury hotel, restored on a hillside just outside the UNESCO walls, a three-minute walk from the Pile Gate. Among the four Dubrovnik hotels here it is the most year-round, and the only one set in the heart of the city itself. Around 147 rooms carry late-19th-century period charm, upper floors looking over the red roofs to the Adriatic, with an Executive Lounge over the city walls and an indoor pool and spa within. The Imperial Terrace dines Dalmatian, and the Pile Gate, the walls and Lovrijenac Fort are at the door. The heritage city base — distinct from the seafront resorts on Lapad and the clifftop Rixos.
