HAND-VETTED RESORTS

Two Countries, One Trip

Malaysia is two countries in one, divided by a sea: the peninsula of Kuala Lumpur's towers, colonial Penang and the tea hills of the Cameron Highlands; and across the water, Borneo, with its rainforest, orang-utans and world-class diving off Sipadan. Few destinations pack so much variety into a single trip.

At HighStreet Holidays we weave these threads into one journey — city, jungle and island — at a pace that suits you. Great food runs through all of it, from Penang's street stalls to Kuala Lumpur's rooftop restaurants.

With access to a carefully vetted portfolio, from city towers to rainforest lodges and island resorts, we build a Malaysia that balances culture, wildlife and beach in a way few other countries can.

People underrate Malaysia — then they go, and the food alone brings them back. City, rainforest and a perfect beach in one trip, with no fuss.

Best Time to Visit
When to Go
WEST COAST PEAK
December to February
The driest, sunniest window for Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Langkawi on the west coast — the most comfortable time for the peninsula and its beaches.
GOOD ALL ROUND
March to October
Warm and humid year-round, with the west coast generally fine through to October and Borneo at its best for wildlife and diving from around March to September.
EAST COAST SEASON
March to October
The east-coast islands (Perhentians, Tioman) and east Borneo are best in these months; many east-coast resorts close during the wetter end of the year.
MONSOON
November to February
The north-east monsoon brings heavier rain to the east coast and east Borneo, while the west coast stays drier — so there's almost always a coast in season. We route to it.
